KhanWork is a design and development agency run by Ali Shayan. This page explains, in plain language, what information khanwork.com collects, why we collect it, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect what you send us through forms and chat, we measure site traffic with Google Analytics, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
Information reaches us in three ways:
- Forms. The contact and newsletter forms ask for your name, email, phone, message, and budget. Submissions post to the site's own server and arrive as an email to ali@khanwork.com. Each form also includes a hidden field that only spam bots fill in, which lets us filter junk without treating your real answers any differently.
- Chat. The chat widget on the site is loaded from app.khanai.co, our own KhanWork service. Messages you type there are processed so we can answer your questions.
- Analytics. We run Google Analytics 4 to see how visitors move through the site. Details are in the analytics section below.
Why we collect it
Form submissions let us reply to your inquiry, and if you signed up for the newsletter, send it to you. Chat messages are used to answer the questions you ask. Analytics tells us which pages get visits and where the site can improve. That is the full list. We do not use your information for anything beyond responding to you and improving khanwork.com.
Analytics and cookies
The site runs Google Analytics 4 through Google's gtag.js script, which sets cookies in the _ga family to tell returning visitors apart from new ones. What we see is aggregate numbers, like which pages people visit, not a profile of you as a person. The full list of cookies on this site, and how to control them in your browser, is in our cookie policy.
Booking, payments, and embeds
A few parts of the site are provided by other companies, and each handles your data under its own privacy policy:
- Cal.com powers the Book a Call scheduler embedded on the site. Anything you enter while booking goes to Cal.com.
- Stripe handles checkout for our two packages through Stripe-hosted payment pages. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
- YouTube videos are embedded in the testimonial sections and load from YouTube.
The share buttons for Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn only open those platforms when you click them. Nothing loads from those networks while you simply read the page.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information to anyone. The site carries no advertising pixels, no remarketing tags, and no third-party ad cookies. Fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page sends no requests to Google Fonts. We keep the list of things running on khanwork.com deliberately short, and this policy describes all of it.
How long we keep information
Form submissions and the email conversations that follow stay in our inbox for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry or work together, then get deleted when they stop being useful. Analytics data lives in Google Analytics, not on our servers. If you want something about you removed sooner, email us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email ali@khanwork.com and we will take care of it. The same address works if you signed up for the newsletter and want to stop receiving it.
Children
khanwork.com is a business site for companies looking for design and development work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, for example if we add a new tool to the site, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not quietly expand what we collect without saying so here first.
Contact
Questions about this policy, or about anything we hold on you, go to ali@khanwork.com. That inbox goes directly to Ali Shayan, KhanWork's founder.
