Getting started
What is KhanWork and who do you work with?
KhanWork is a design and development partner for founders, brands and service businesses. We design and build high-converting websites, brand identities and marketing assets, and then keep optimizing them for growth. We work with startups, small-to-mid-sized businesses and agencies — most often in healthcare, recovery, SaaS and local service industries.
What is a design partnership and how is it different from a freelancer or a traditional agency?
A design partnership means you work directly with a small senior team on an ongoing basis instead of a one-off project. There are no account managers or handoffs, so decisions are faster and the work stays consistent as your business grows. You get the reliability of an agency with the direct access and speed of working with the founder.
How do we get started?
Book a free, no-pressure call. We'll talk through your goals, users and timeline, and recommend the right starting point — usually a Foundation project or a monthly Design partnership. If it's a fit, we scope the work and get moving, typically within a week.
Do you work with startups and small businesses, or only established companies?
Both. Foundation Partner is built for early-stage startups and small businesses that need a strong first website and brand, while Design and Growth partnerships suit companies ready to invest in ongoing design and marketing. We scale the engagement to where you are.
I only need a landing page — can you help with that?
Yes. A focused, conversion-optimized landing page is one of our fastest engagements (often about two weeks). It's a great way to test an offer or campaign before committing to a full website.
Services & scope
Do you design and build the entire website, or just the design?
We do both — strategy, design and development end to end. You get a finished, live website, not just a Figma file. We also handle branding, content, SEO and ongoing optimization if you need them.
Should I use WordPress or Next.js for my business website?
It depends on your goals. WordPress is faster and cheaper to launch and easy for non-technical teams to edit; Next.js is faster, more secure and better for scale, performance and SEO. We help you pick the right one and build on whichever fits — see our in-depth guide on WordPress vs Next.js in Insights.
Do you do branding and logo design?
Yes. We design complete brand identities — logo, colour palette, typography and brand guidelines — usually bundled with a website project but also available standalone.
Can you improve my SEO and get me found on Google?
Yes. Every site we build ships with clean, fast, semantic code, proper metadata, structured data and a sitemap. On Growth partnerships we also handle ongoing on-page SEO, content and technical optimization to keep you climbing the rankings.
Do you create product animations and motion graphics?
Yes — we produce product animations and motion graphics for hero sections, ads and social, using tools like After Effects, Blender and modern 3D pipelines.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Absolutely. Redesigns are one of our most common projects. Clients typically see a 15–25% lift in conversions after a relaunch focused on clearer messaging and conversion paths.
Pricing & plans
How much does a website cost?
Our Foundation Partner package starts at $1,499 as a one-time project (branding + a high-converting website). For ongoing design and growth we offer monthly partnerships — Design Partner and Growth Partner — with Agency Partner priced custom for white-label work. Book a call for an exact quote for your project.
What's the difference between Foundation, Design, Growth and Agency Partner?
Foundation is a one-time launch package (branding + website). Design Partner is a monthly plan for ongoing design across your brand. Growth Partner adds conversion optimization, SEO, social and a dedicated project manager. Agency Partner is white-label support for agencies that need extra capacity.
Is it a one-time project or a monthly subscription?
Both options exist. Foundation is a one-time project. Design and Growth are monthly partnerships — like having an in-house design and growth team without the overhead — so you can request work continuously and pause or scale as needed.
Are there any long-term contracts?
No long lock-ins. Monthly partnerships are exactly that — monthly — so you stay because the work is worth it, not because a contract traps you.
Do you offer white-label design for agencies?
Yes. Agency Partner is a white-label engagement where we work behind the scenes as your design and development team, with dedicated Slack support and a set number of projects per month.
Process & working together
How long does a website take to design and launch?
A focused landing page is usually about two weeks; a full custom website typically takes four to eight weeks depending on scope and how quickly we get feedback and content. We'll give you a clear timeline before we start.
What does your process look like?
Every project starts with a strategy call focused on goals, users and outcomes. From there we move through design (in Figma), development and launch, then keep optimizing after go-live. You always know what's in progress and what's next.
How do we communicate during the project?
Async updates in Slack and Notion, a shared board so you can see progress in real time, and regular strategy calls. On monthly partnerships you can drop requests any time and send feedback via Loom.
How many revisions do I get?
Unlimited design revisions on our partnerships. We iterate until it's right — the goal is a website you're genuinely proud of that also performs.
Who owns the website and files when we're done?
You do. You own the website, the source files and all the design assets — no hostage situations, no proprietary lock-in.
Results, SEO & AI search
Will my website actually rank on Google?
We build for search from the ground up — fast load times, strong Core Web Vitals, semantic HTML, metadata, structured data and a clean sitemap. Combined with a Growth partnership's ongoing SEO and content, that's what moves rankings. One client reached 900K+ impressions and 200+ leads in their first 30 days.
Do you optimize websites to be found by AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity?
Yes. We optimize for AI search (sometimes called GEO or AEO) using structured data, FAQ schema, clean semantic markup and server-rendered content, so AI assistants can read, understand and cite your site — not just traditional search engines.
Do you guarantee results or more leads?
We don't sell guarantees — anyone who does is guessing. What we do promise is a website built on proven conversion principles, measured and continuously improved. Our clients regularly see double-digit lifts in conversions and lead volume after launch.
Do you provide analytics and reporting?
Yes. We set up analytics so you can see traffic, conversions and where leads come from, and on Growth partnerships we review the numbers with you and act on them.
Which industries do you specialize in?
We do especially strong work for healthcare and addiction-recovery organizations, SaaS and startups, and local service businesses — industries where trust and conversion matter most. See our Insights for industry-specific guides.
Technical & support
Will my site be fast, mobile-friendly and accessible?
Yes — every build is responsive, performance-optimized (we routinely score in the high 90s to 100 on Lighthouse) and built with accessibility in mind so real users and AI agents can navigate it.
Do you handle hosting and domains?
We can. We'll recommend and set up reliable hosting and connect your domain, or work with your existing setup — whatever's simplest for you.
Can you migrate my site from WordPress to a modern stack?
Yes. We handle WordPress-to-headless and Next.js migrations, moving your content and preserving your SEO so you gain speed and security without losing rankings. There's a full guide to CMS migration in our Insights.
Do you provide ongoing maintenance and support?
Yes — monthly partnerships include ongoing updates, fixes and improvements with fast turnaround, so your site keeps getting better instead of going stale.
Is my website secure?
Security is built in — modern frameworks, minimal attack surface, HTTPS, and best-practice configuration. Static and server-rendered sites in particular are far harder to compromise than a typical plugin-heavy WordPress install.
