Cookie policy

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember something about your visit, such as recognizing your browser when you come back. Some cookies are set by the site you are reading, and others are set by third-party tools embedded in its pages. Both kinds are covered below.

khanwork.com uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google's gtag.js script, to see how the site is used: which pages get read and where visits come from. To do that, Google Analytics sets the _ga family of cookies, meaning cookies whose names begin with _ga.

These cookies identify a browser, not a person. We look at the aggregate reports to decide what to improve on the site, and that is the whole job they do.

There are none of our own. khanwork.com is a static site: you do not log in, there is no cart, and there is no session to maintain. The contact and newsletter forms send what you type straight to our server without needing a cookie, and spam is filtered by a hidden honeypot field in the form rather than by any tracking.

Four tools on the site are run by other companies. Each sets its own cookies when you use it, under its own policy:

• Cal.com stores what it needs in your browser when you open the Book a Call scheduler to pick a time.
• Stripe handles checkout when you follow a payment link for one of our packages. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers.
• YouTube plays the videos embedded in our testimonial sections.
• The KhanWork chat widget is loaded from app.khanai.co, and the messages you send it are processed to answer your questions.

khanwork.com runs no advertising pixels, no remarketing tags, and no third-party ad cookies. Our fonts are self-hosted, so reading the site sends no requests to Google Fonts. The share buttons only contact Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn if you click them, so simply reading a page tells those networks nothing.

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings, usually under privacy. You can clear cookies that are already stored, block third-party cookies, or block cookies for specific sites.

Blocking or deleting the analytics cookies costs you nothing here: every page of khanwork.com works the same without them. Blocking cookies for the embedded tools may stop the booking scheduler, Stripe checkout or chat widget from working properly.

If the cookies on khanwork.com change, for example because we add or remove an embedded tool, we will update this page and the date at the top. Whatever this page says right now is the current, complete list.
